TWR059 Snowflake Earrings Tutorial

 

Oh, yes! 'Tis the jolly season again! ;)

Learn how to make this pair of beaded snowflake earrings for gifts or yourself for this coming Christmas!

 I used size 3mm Swarovski crystal bicones but you are free to substitute with bigger beads like 4mm. Just bear in mind that the finished piece will also be bigger in size.

I also used two different colour bicones here (crystal and white opal) but you can also use one single colour.

I also attached a chain to the snowflake motif to make it into a pair of dangle earrings. But if you prefer to make it into a snowflake drop style earrings, you can most definitely do away without the chain. It's a very versatile piece and it's up to you how or what you want to do with the beaded snowflake motif.

 

The materials listed here is to make a pair of earrings. So, if you would only like to make a beaded snowflake motif to make into say, mobile charms, you only need half of the beads listed here.

 

Tools & materials used:

• (48) 3mm Swarovski bicones colour A
• (24) 3mm Swarovski bicones colour B
• Size 10/11/12 seed bead
• Monofilament/Fishing line/Supplemax or equivalent
• (2) jump rings
• (1) pair of ear wires
• Chain of your choice
• Scissors
• Cutters
• Chain nose pliers
